I had an incredible stay at this beach resort, thanks to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff who made my birthday special. The stunning ocean view from my unit added to the relaxation, although the seaweed issue on the beach was a bit of a drawback. I enjoyed the spacious room, but dining options could be improved due to high prices and mixed quality. Overall, it’s a great spot for a peaceful getaway.

Rooms

The room was spacious and clean with a breathtaking view of the ocean from my terrace, making it a perfect place to unwind.
Service
10.0
The staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating, helping me with bookings and always ready to assist.
Location
8.0
The hotel is nestled in a quiet area right on the beach, which was ideal for relaxation, though a bit off the main tourist path.
Dining
7.0
While the food was delicious, prices felt a bit high compared to the variety and could be better for meals.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were decent, and I appreciated the efforts of the staff to keep the beach clean, though the algae issue persisted.

I had a fantastic time at Wyndham Reef Resort on the peaceful East End of Grand Cayman. The ocean views from my room were breathtaking, and it was great having easy access to the beach and snorkeling right at my doorstep. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, although we did have a less than pleasant encounter with a timeshare salesperson. Overall, it’s the perfect spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, though renting a car is essential for exploring the area.

The room was spacious with stunning ocean views, and the balcony was a lovely touch. However, the kitchenette felt a bit bare-bones and could use better equipment.

The resort is located on the tranquil East End, away from the hustle of Seven Mile Beach, offering a quiet and calm retreat with stunning ocean views.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was pleasant, especially the beach bar which offered delicious food options. Breakfast could be more diverse, but everything was fresh and tasty.
Facilities

Facilities such as the pools and beach access were top-notch. The dive shop on-site was a great bonus for water sports enthusiasts.

5.0/10

During my stay, I found the hotel to be nicely situated, but it was misleading regarding the beach experience. The rooms were tidy and equipped, making for a comfortable stay. However, the dining prices were quite high for the quality offered. Overall, the service was lacking, and the location felt a bit too isolated from the main attractions.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were comfortable and tidy, featuring a kitchenette that added convenience for our stay.
Service
5.0
The service was disappointing; staff rarely checked in on us and seemed more focused on selling timeshares than providing a great experience.
Location
5.0
While it was peaceful and quiet on the East End, it felt quite far from the main attractions and the beautiful beaches you see in pictures.
Dining
5.0
Dining was overpriced for what you received, and not as delightful as expected.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were adequate but not great; the pools were small and not very inviting.

Our stay at the resort was wonderful overall. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the all-inclusive option was definitely worth it for the fantastic food. However, the beach conditions were not ideal, and some aspects of the amenities could use improvement. All in all, it was a relaxing getaway perfect for families looking for a quieter experience.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious and clean, boasting a beautiful sea view and a luxurious jacuzzi tub. However, it was a bit inconvenient having to walk back and forth to the main area.
Service
9.0
The service was outstanding, with staff consistently attentive and eager to assist. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay.
Location
7.0
The resort is located on the East End, offering a quiet escape from the busyness of Georgetown. While beautiful, the area is more secluded, making it less convenient for reaching other attractions.
Dining
8.0
Dining options were impressive, especially with the all-inclusive plan. The food was always delicious, although some prices for à la carte items seemed a bit high.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were adequate but not exceptional. While the pools were nice, the beach area was hindered by some seaweed and rocky conditions.

7.8/10

I had a mixed experience at this resort. On one hand, the staff was exceptional and the food exceeded my expectations, providing good value for the all-inclusive plan. On the other hand, the beach was awful and not suitable for swimming, which was a major disappointment since it's a big draw for a place like Cayman. Additionally, the early morning rooster wake-up calls made for some restless nights.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered nice ocean views, but they felt a bit dated with a 1990s style.
Service
9.0
The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay, although I found the initial time share pitch a bit off-putting.
Location
7.0
The resort is located on the east end, which is peaceful but requires quite a bit of driving to get to popular tourist spots like Georgetown.
Dining
9.0
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at the restaurant, easily on par with 4 or 5 star places.
Facilities
6.0
Overall, the resort was very clean and well-maintained, but the beach facilities left much to be desired, making it hard to enjoy the water.
